The Shady Trough will increase your animal population limit by 10 animals, but it must be built first. There’s also a set of goals to complete along with this release, and we’re here with a guide to help you out. Shady Business • Place the Shady Trough Foundation • Feed 5 Adult Goats • Feed 3 Chickens If it looks like you’re out of land space for this Shady Trough, try hovering it over your animals for a few seconds. They’ll quickly move out of the way, which should allow you to have enough room to place the foundation. As for feeding the animals, the smartest ones to choose here are chickens, simply because they take so little time to become hungry again.
